The Wire Shelf, based on Panton Wire chrome, was part of the Panton Pantonova furniture family. Formed from individual blocks of then 34.5 centimeters side length, it can still be used flexible and versatile in spite of adapted dimensions. Hi-Fi cabinet, table, bookshelf or room divider – the ideas are unlimited. 5 millimeter thick wire ropes arranged parallel to each other are bent into a cube, which is open to the front and the back.

Racks specially designed for the Panton Wire Shelf in red are optionally available as accessories and turn the Panton Wire Shelf into a sideboard, coffee table, side table or bedside table. In addition, Panton Wire Moulin Rouge can be mounted on the wall using Montana‘s original mounting material and then used as a wall shelf. In this way, the Panton Wire rack is transformed, for example, into an attractive and well-ventilated floor storage for keys, mobile phone, bag, letters, hats and gloves. In walk-in wardrobes Panton Wire Moulin Rouge can accommodate bags, shoes, shawls and scarves. Montana, the current manufacturer, offers these individual elements under the name Panton Wire. Clips can be used to connect the individual elements. Floors and racks made of glass, MDF or marble and fittings for wall mounting multiply the possible uses of the wire shelf. The same design style is available with Wire Table Lamp and Wire Floor Lamp for lighting.
Panton Wire Shelf Moulin Rouge used as wall shelf should be loaded with a maximum of 10 kilograms. When used as a floor shelf, the manufacturer Montana indicates the maximum load of 40 kilograms. If several Panton Wire elements form as room divider, these should definitely be secured to the ceiling, wall and floor.
